How to Set-Up:

On the positive side, the set-up is quick and easy. To sign-up, you just need your company name, email address, and a password. Even before confirming your email address, you can get started creating a campaign. Then start importing contacts. You can complete your profile during the waiting period.

How to Use:

The first step is to choose the campaign type: Email or SMS.

Let’s start with the email. You will fill out the following: campaign name, subject line, sender’s email address, and the ‘from’ name. On the next screen, you can choose from a Responsive Design-Builder to create a mobile-friendly email. Or the HTML/Simple Text Editor Copy and paste your HTML code or use a simple text editor.

The final step is to choose a template from approximately 75 offered. The templates are not titled, but they do show a preview of the finished email. The templates can all be customized. They show a variety of holiday templates, retail sale templates, and a few business templates. If you start without a template, the newsletter is pre-populated. It will display only a logo, image, text, and button, but you can swap out elements.

Similar to the MailChimp editor there is an “Elements” screen. Here you can start to build the design and create a color scheme. Another key point is SendinBlue uses a drag and drop editor. The editor makes crafting an email a breeze.

Drag and Drop Editor

There are two tab options to make your design choices. The elements tab and an images tab. Among these options are the colors. You can select backgrounds, borders, spacing, buttons, fonts and more. For images, there is no built-in gallery. So, you will need to upload your own photos or use the default images to your template. Once you upload a photo, you can access editing tools. These tools include crop, resize, change orientation, brightness, contrast, and more.

Summary:

SendinBlue is a useful tool for marketers who want to reach their customers by text in addition to email. It also offers order confirmation and other transactional emails and texts. This, of course, is essential if you have an e-commerce site. In addition, the beta marketing automation is a great feature. Furthermore, automation is not available as part of most email marketing services. Above all, we hope you enjoyed our SendinBlue review.
